Start Location: Over the Edge Bike Shop Main St Melrose 5483 SA.
3 Hours North of Adelaide you will come across Melrose – at the foothills of Mt Remarkable you will find a weeks worth of Sweet Single track – purpose built mountain bike trails for all riders. Head to Over the Edge bike shop in the main street and there you will find Rich and Al – they can advise you on what rides are going out.

About the Ride: There is over 50kms of single track here – the ride really depends on everyones ability. It will be mostly black diamond so a good level of skill and fitness is required. Family rides can also be arranged with billy tea and fruit cake!

Melrose is a beautiful place with fantastic mountain biking. The tracks here are well maintained, an easy ride from accommodation and great fun. The bitumen roads around the town are quiet as well if you want to switch up a weekend with a road ride.
The bike shop at Melrose is something of a utopia for bikers who love bike porn – top quality bikes and gear. The staff are dedicated riders who know what they’re talking about as well and can give you plenty of local advice.
Melrose is a place that is happy to see and support visiting cyclists – put the Melrose Mountains on the top-10 trails that you need to conquer before you die list!
