About the Ride: The Ride starts out at a steady pace and pulls up after about 35km. The sometimes 50+ riders break up into smaller group’s based on ability. The smaller groups then make their way back to the Coffee shop at speed. The faster bunches will normally go first so that any dropped riders can be picked up by the slower bunches behind.
Additional Notes: It’s a very friendly bunch that has tri-athletes, bike racers, AUDAX and recreational riders mixing in together. The experience level of riders in the bunch is usually very good. If you want to learn how to swap off turns, then this is the ride for you. Great fun and most sit around the coffee shop for an hour afterwards. You will be back in town by 8.30am
