Fast and Easy options available, If you are not looking to get smashed but want to test yourself a little, this may be the ride for you. Quiet country roads with fair to good surfaces over flat and undulating terrain with some challenging hills on most rides. (When you live at Highfields, it is part of the deal.)

A good way to get the cobwebs out after a hard day at the office. Start times vary according to the season and available light but never earlier than 4 nor later than 5.
The Bikeline Sunday ride is a 40km Loop which gets around 30+riders for a medium to hard hit out leaving from the Bikeline shop every Sunday.
Head out with the Bikeline Shop ride for a early week day 30km town loop all year round. Its a Medium to Hard ride that starts and leaves from the shop.
This M1 Cycles ride gets pretty firm in places but if you fall off, you can take the odd short cut to get back to the bunch whilst they are rolling along. These rides have strict etiquette, you may be told to shape up, don't take it to heart, it is all about safety.
Easy ride, suitable for beginners, just starting to ride in the bunch. Ride leaves M1 Cycles at 5.30 and does 2 loops of a 17km circuit, then back to M1. Ride is a learning ride for starters and includes tips on bunch etiquette and yes, if you do something silly, you will be chatted. A friendly and helpful bunch ride.
This is a firm round the block ride. Gladstone-Yarwun-Calliope-Gladstone. Paceline for 14km at 35-45kph, 2 x Hill climbs. Experienced stronger riders are generally able to hang on to the bunch. In winter, the ride changes to "Haddock Hell Ride" 3 laps of hilly circuit with 20% climbs. The M1 Cycles rides are a friendly bunch but always put safety first, so no silly bunch moves. Etiquette is the key.
The M1 Cycles Block Ride goes from Gladstone to Targinnie across to Calliope and over River Ranch Hills and Haddock Drive, Back to Maccas. Haddock drive is 1 .8km climb with 2 short 25% hills in the middle.
If you live in the Barambah area and surrounds and would like someone to ride with, this group rides mostly on the weekend (or sometimes during the week) for a recreational ride of probably 30-60 km. This group tries to stay away from the busy highways.
This is probably THE ride to do when in Noosa, there's a ride every day of the week. Noosa Crew usually have lots of tourists on their bunch rides throughout the year and many pros/ex pros also liven the bunch up throughout the year. The bunch is triathlete friendly.
Join the Kingaroy Sunday Group Ride for a ride on Country roads, all sealed mainly chip & seal. Some hills depending on the route decided on. Coffee is always involved. Local riders will adjust ride to help beginners.
Join the Kingaroy Training Group for a 25-45km ride most days of the week (Tues, Wed, Thurs and Fri) for a 25-45km ride usually quite country roads with some minor hills. The Friday ride is usually shorter & finishes with coffee and the bunch waits at corners for the slower riders.
Join the Tom Wallace Cycles Bunch for 45km Medium to hard ride, its a early 5.30am start and finishes back at the shop on Lutwyche Rd.

The Zupps ride starts every Sunday morning at 6:30am regardless of the weather and you’ll see everyone from race-entry level up to elite. More riders join along the route and the peleton can swell up to 100 riders. It heads north via Strathpine, Petrie, Burpengary, Redcliffe, Brighton and Sandgate.
This is a popular social training ride for experienced riders, racing cyclists and triathletes alike. The ride heads to Redcliffe via Gympie Road and Petrie and returns via Sandgate and Nudgee Road. Heading out at an average speed around 30-32 km/h until picking up speed considerably for a paceline over the last ten kilometres into Redcliffe. Quick stop for a bite to eat at the Redcliffe bakery and then home via Sandgate at an average speed of 33-35 km/h.
Park Road has been cycling central in Brisbane for quite some time. There are bunch training rides leaving from La Dolce Vita everyday that cater for the needs of most serious cyclists. At 5:30am every weekday there is a 35km recovery (slower) ride. 6:00am on Wednesday is a 30km very fast ride and is definitely not for the faint-hearted, with speeds topping 50km/h on the flats.
