<p><strong>About the Ride:</strong><br />
Ride leave Fordys fish and chip shop and heads through Barney point and Auckland Point, over the lookout, 15km Paceline averaging 40kph into the Marina, then out Red Rover Road to Dawson Highway, out over Haddock Drive to Kirkwood, back through Emmadale Drive, Cockatoo Drive to Dawson Highway, to Maccas<br />

Additional Notes:</strong> This ride gets pretty firm in places but if you fall off, you can take the odd short cut to get back to the bunch whilst they are rolling along. These rides have strict etiquette, you may be told to shape up, don&#8217;t take it to heart, it is all about safety.</p>

About the Ride:<br />
</strong>Easy ride, suitable for beginners, just starting to ride in the bunch. Ride leaves M1 Cycles at 5.30 and does 2 loops of a 17km circuit, then back to M1. Ride is a learning ride for starters and includes tips on bunch etiquette and yes, if you do something silly, you will be chatted. We are friendly and helpful. This ride may help you avoid gravel rash in the bunch.</p>

<p><strong>About the Ride:</strong> This is a firm round the block ride. Gladstone-Yarwun-Calliope-Gladstone. Paceline for 14km at 35-45kph, 2 x Hill climbs. Experienced stronger riders are generally able to hang on to the bunch. In winter, the ride changes to &#8220;Haddock Hell Ride&#8221; 3 laps of hilly circuit with 20% climbs.</p>
<p><strong>Additional Notes: </strong>This ride will only wait for you at the top of the biggest climb, if you fall off the pack before then, you are riding solo. Ride is training ride for competition cyclists. ALL M1 RIDES REQUIRE YOU TO HAVE A FUNCTIONING FRONT AND REAR LIGHT. NO LIGHTS , NO RIDE</p>

Haddock drive is 1 .8km climb with 2 short 25% hills in the middle. Ride breaks into Hitters and Bunters after about 14km with easy bunters ride doing 20km less at easier pace.</p>
