Start Location: Lagoa do Taquaral, in Campinas (São Paulo State) Brazil.
Start Time: 6:00PM
Ride Finish: It finishes in the park, we are doing laps around it (there’s a bike lane all the way around it).
Days of the Week: TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS
Ride Difficulty: Medium-Hard
Distance of Ride: Laps are around 6kms, you can stay as long as you want.
Average Bunch Size: 10-20
Ride Contact Details: Since its a local park, there’s no need to contact no one prior to coming and riding.
About the Ride: There’s a bike lane all the way around the park, and when car traffic gets less intense (after 19:00hs or 7PM), it’s very safe to ride. You can ride any day/time you want, but most cyclists (including pros) ride during the described period. Riding in the bunch is safer when it comes to car respect. Many bunches ride around, so if you get dropped you’ll end up in one that fits you’re current fitness.

It is the climb out of town that hurts so stick with the bunch up the first hill (experienced riders will set a comfortable average speed to ensure we stay together), once we're to the top it is an enjoyable scenic route through some of the nicest country side in the state. Getting close to Inverell (about 3km) we climb up the last hill with the option of going your own pace or challenging yourself with other riders racing to the top. We wait at the top or go back down to encourage others up.
