Safe and friendly bunch riding on the most scenic road in Australia. There are not many bunches where the call of "Koala ahead" is relatively common. Its a Medium paced ride covering about 50-100kms depending on where you start.

Easy Ride straight down the Torquay Highway into Torquay. Turn left at the road about into Bell Street and then left again onto the Esplanade. Follow the Esplanade around until the roadabout at Horseshoe Bend Road and turn left again. Return to Geelong.

The Stawell-Halls Gap Saturday Coffee Ride is a social ride from Stawell to Halls Gap, stop for coffee and return to Stawell. Average speed 26-29 kph, but general rule is to ride as fast as the slowest rider. Riders holidaying in Halls Gap can ride to the start point in Stawell and then return to Halls Gap with the bunch. All riders most welcome.

The "Maling Room Ride" (MRR) has been running since January 2007. The ride starts on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, at ~6:00 am at the park on the corner of Canterbury Rd and Avenue Athol, Canterbury. We ride East out Canterbury Rd and take in some of the rolling hills of the Eastern suburbs before returning to Canterbury (see route map linked below). The ride is around 27 km and finishes at 7:00 for coffee at The Maling Room, corner of Maling Rd and Canterbury Rd.

This is a ride from Ashburton to Mordialloc via North Rd then Beach Rd. There is little traffic on the suburban streets at this early hour on the weekend. Beach Rd is a cycling mecca so relatively safe given that the motorists expect to see many cyclist sharing the road.

The Footscray Bunch takes it easy until North Rd and then fires up to Black Rock where some turn but most continue to Mordie. Some in summer continue onto Frankston. After turning they ride back to Middle Park for a coffee and then roll back to the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.

The Tour De Peninsula Ride heads south along Nepean Hwy and then the route changes weekly but usually goes through Red Hill via Tubabruba Rd, White Hill, Arthurs Seat, down to Rosebud and back up to Frankston via the Esplande. This ride is on Saturdays and is a Medium to Hard Ride covering 80-130kms....

The Bike Hub Saturday ride has a couple of different routes to keep it interesting including Whittlesea, St Andrews and Black Rock, finishing back in Heidelberg with coffee afterwards! Done at a comfortable pace (low 30kmh) to accommodate newer riders and ensure we all have a good ride. It's planned as a general fitness / recovery ride.

Ride route includes Beverley Rd, Bonds Rd, Mt Pleasant Rd and returns via Main rd and Bonds rd again. There's three testing climbs so anyone comfortable with the Tour de Suburbs should give this a go to test you. A moderate level of fitness is required and we regroup after each climb. It's not an A-Grade leg-smash, although KOM bragging rights are on offer!
