The ride has two different groups. There's an easy one and a moderate one. The easy on is a cruise through Taroona and into Kingston and then turns back around, Bonnet hill is the only hill but everyone waits for everyone. It's not a race. The harder ride goes up to Ferntree and then down into Leslievale and into Kingston, it then travels back through Taroona.
Easy Wednesday Night spin out through Camden to the bottom of razorback then as we hit Finns rd the ride gets going and basically a race through Menangle and all the way back to Campbelltown. Good hit out for a Wednesday evening during Daylight saving - varying abilities and everyone is waited for back at Campbelltown.
This is a firm round the block ride. Gladstone-Yarwun-Calliope-Gladstone. Paceline for 14km at 35-45kph, 2 x Hill climbs. Experienced stronger riders are generally able to hang on to the bunch. In winter, the ride changes to "Haddock Hell Ride" 3 laps of hilly circuit with 20% climbs. The M1 Cycles rides are a friendly bunch but always put safety first, so no silly bunch moves. Etiquette is the key.
This is a weekly MTB training race that is more about riding with friends and meeting up at a BBQ later. The rides are in various locations in Squamish BC.
Join the City Cycles crew for an evening shop ride on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Leaving at around 5.15pm for a 40-60km loop depending on the bunch. Its a medium paced ride with a small group of around 2-10 riders.
The LACC Club meet at the Olympic Park Railway Station, Homebush Bay. The course follows a loop around showground and Stadium Australia. At 6am they stop and send groups off at 30s intervals and usually limits the numbers per group to approx 20 to give everyone a good training experience. There is a group for beginners and riders looking for a moderate (social) pace ably managed by Senior riders.
Join the Fatties Night Group Ride MTB Bunch. Route in Ivanhoe Victoria changes weekly. 2 hours exploring the single track along the Yarra and surrounds. Ride finishes between 8.30 and 9PM, lights required if darkness falls before this.
The Lady Cyclist Weekday Ride is the perfect ride for those mums who have dropped the kids off at school and are keen to have a bit of 'me time'. It's a 40-60km ride on Wednesdays leaving at 9.30am.
Head to the Dunc Gray Velodrome on Wednesday nights for Track riding and training for all levels. Specialised practice can be negotiated on the night with the session co-ordinator or contacting beforehand through website. Juniors Start at 5.30pm, Seniors Start at 7.15pm.
Join the Kiama Silverbacks for a 75km Ride on Wednesdays and Thursdays leaving from the Kiama Fire Station at 8.30am. Its a Medium grade ride with some good hills at pace yet the bunch re-groups. Finish is at the Minnamurra Cafe - approximately 11.30am
This mid week ride in Bathurst caters for all abilities. Typically an out and back course (40-45kms) along quiet back roads around Bathurst. Pace quickens on the way back but the coffee is always hot at the end.
Join the Coffs Harbour Cycling Club at 5.30am on Wednesdays for a few laps around town. The ride ends back at the City Centre Mall where some hang around for a coffee. The ride averages about 10-20 people over a distance of 50kms at a medium pace.
If you are looking for a mid week loop around the Northern Beaches, this the one. The route is north along Pittwater Rd, past Warringah Mall (5:30am), through Dee Why shops, Collaroy, Narrabeen, then veer right towards Mona Vale shops. Left at McCarrs Creek Rd direction Church Point. There is usually a short sprint approaching the Church Point u turn. Its a medium to hard 50km loop returning to Manly Beach for coffee.
