About the Ride: Velo 2073 is a semi-serious social cycling group who enjoy a ride and a bit of banter each weekend . We set out from West Pymble shop on a Saturday or Sunday at 6.30am & finish around 9am.

Short ride: Bobbin Head National Park & back (35km)
Longer rides:  West Head and / or Akuna Bay & back (50 to 70km)

All rides include a couple of serious hills that challenge riders of all standards

Additional Notes: Most of us are busy Mums & Dads who manage to juggle our cycling in with busy kids sport schedules each weekend – join us!

About the Ride: Great ride for all levels, few quick stops along the way for anyone who drops off the back. We ride through quiet roads therough great scenery.

About the Ride: This is a hard bunch swapping off to chase a 5am start bunch, a bit like a handicap race, very hilly with an av speed approx 35 K/hr. Just try & hold Pete Collins wheel!!

Additional Notes: The 5am bunch that leaves from the same servo is a much mellower pace & thae try to hold our wheel when we come through. An unofficial handicap race!

About the Ride: We start most of our rides around Floreat or City Beach. Our regular Saturday ride leaves from Floreat Forum Carpark near Delish Cafe at 6am (summer) and 6.30 in winter. We usually ride between 50 – 70km with occasional longer rides or visits to the hills near Perth. See website for details and map of a typical Saturday Ride.

Midweek rides leave from Georges Cafe at City Beach at 5.45am sharp on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also do some mountain bike rides in the hills or on the Munda Biddi Trail.

Additional Notes: Ride from Youth is a bunch of cyclists who ride for fun, fitness and to get to the cafe. Many of the riders have been involved in the Ride for Youth Charity ride from Albany to Perth, which raises money for Youth Focus. These days we ride more for fun and welcome new riders and those keen to improve their fitness and learn about group riding. Riders have a range of fitness and experience levels and men and women are welcome. You will need a moderate level of fitness to keep up. There are lots of opportunities to learn and to build your fitness and cycling skills. Some riders form teams for cyclo sportif, Annaconda, Gibb River Challenge and other Cycling related events.

Additional Notes: Social ride with harder efforts. Average speed 30klm/ hr, always a coffee afterwards.

About the Ride: Mostly rides on and north of Mecedon Ranges. Friendly small group. Av speed mid-high 20s km/h. Ride goes in almost all conditions year round. You’ll need lights except in high summer.

About the Ride: Local MTB riders, mostly dads, moderate pace, occasional stops. Need a good MTB (disc brakes), we ride some pretty big descents. Friendly group. Goes year round, even cold wet and muddy days.
