Park Road has been cycling central in Brisbane for quite some time. There are bunch training rides leaving from La Dolce Vita everyday that cater for the needs of most serious cyclists. At 5:30am every weekday there is a 35km recovery (slower) ride. 6:00am on Wednesday is a 30km very fast ride and is definitely not for the faint-hearted, with speeds topping 50km/h on the flats.
